Founding Member Of ELO Killed In Freak Traffic Accident »
Mike Edwards, a founding member of Electric Light Orchestra, was killed on September 3 in a freak traffic accident in Southwest England. The 62-year-old cellist was driving in a van that was struck by a 1,300 pound bale of hay, which had rolled off of a truck from a nearby farm. The bale rolled down a steep hill and landed on Edwards' van. The van was then struck by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the collision.

Famed Beatles Venue Burns To The Ground »
The Kingsway Club, one of the first venues to host a Beatles lineup that featured Ringo Starr, was destroyed by fire on Monday night. According to local media, the fire was so bad that it took seven fire engines and two aerial units, along with the pouring rain, to bring the raging fire under control. Fire service watch manager Peter Owens told the Southport Echo that the three-story venue suffered from a "severe fire."

Charlie Watts Talks Stones Farewell Tour »
The Rolling Stones are finally considering hanging it up. In a recent interview with Le Parisien, drummer Charlie Watts revealed that they've discussed the possibility of a farewell tour and that their age is finally catching up to them. "We're discussing it at the moment," he said. "We said that if we do something, it will be next year or the year after. "We've reached an age where you can't look too far into the future."
