Van Halen Previews 'Blood And Fire'
Van Halen have provided a 90-second preview of their new song "Blood and Fire" in advance of their highly-anticipated new album A Different Kind of Truth, due out next month.
The new song is based on an instrumental track called "Ripley," taken from The Wild Life movie released back in 1984.
"Blood and Fire" is the third song to be previewed off of the band's upcoming long player. The disc's first single, "Tattoo," was based on the group's unreleased 1977 track "Down In Flames." Another track off of A Different Kind of Truth, "She's the Woman," which the group played live at their recent secret show in New York City, was originally recorded as a demo in 1976.
A Different Kind of Truth hits stores on February 7. The band begins their American tour on February 18.
